FULL SPECTRUM ENTERTAINMENT
TRANSFORMING BROADCAST TELEVISION
ESI's nationwide network of UHF television stations is the infrastructure behind our new multicast content distribution platform. By combining ATSC 3.0's IP based broadcast of video content with low cost storage in consumer edge devices, ESI will completely change the way video is delivered to households and mobile devices.
The UHF LPTV spectrum on which ESI's platform operates enables high quality reception in buildings and on mobile devices. In addition, the relatively "light" regulations governing the use of this spectrum allow us to operate very efficiently and cost effectively compared to traditional full power television stations.
ESI provides services to content owners and distributors via its UHF content distribution platform at costs that are much lower than existing public and private CDN networks. ESI also works with existing broadcasters to assist in their transition from ATSC 1.0 to ATSC 3.0 by providing simulcast services while new receivers slowly penetrate the market.
ESI is building a new nationwide wireless network that will lead the transformation of broadcast television from a fixed schedule, fixed content, broadcast service into a user defined, wireless, broadband data, and entertainment delivery service for mobile devices, households and automobiles.
